Swap is a new approach to reading the Bible together. The idea is simple. You and your Swap partner both have a copy of this journal. You might be a youth worker partnered with a young person, or two young people, or two friends. Whatever works for you.
Some parts you do together; other bits you do alone. Then, part-way through each session, you swap journals and read and pray through what the other person has written. There are six studies, but you can take them at any pace you like. They centre on different aspects of the person of Jesus, the things he cared about – like love, justice and power – and why any of it matters. As you explore who he is, you'll be asking who you are too: where have you come from, and where are you going, and who's on the road with you?
No one's meant to live alone. We're all on a journey of faith and as fellow travellers we can all learn from each other. Swap is a fresh, fun way to ask the deep questions of life together, and maybe even stumble upon some answers.

"Worked through the Swap Journal with a young person today - what amazed me were the very deep theological thoughts from this young person! Lesson to learn: never underestimate your youth's theological understanding!"
