Launch and Land

We think it’s really important to prepare and return really intentionally from your visit to Satellites, or any other summer event. A week in the summer is great… but it’s only a short moment in the journey of year-round (and hopefully lifelong) faith. So we’ve created a brand new resource to help you plan two sessions with your young people, one to help them Launch into their Satellites adventure, and another to ensure they Land back in their local context really well.

It’s been written by seasoned youth work veteran and Satellites event director Martin Saunders, and best of all it’s completely free!

Launch will help you to prepare everyone for what to expect at Satellites and explore how they can get the most out of coming along. Land is designed to help young people to return from the event, reflecting on what happened there, and building connections between the mountaintop experience of a festival, and the year-round journey of regular life at home, school and their faith community.
