Join the Youthscape Essentials team as we look at being trauma aware in youth ministry, with a specialist in Trauma Informed Practice; Jenny Cavendish, Psychotherapist, MSc, MUKCP
Understanding trauma in the lives of young people is important for us as Christians and impacts the way we approach those in our communities. This session will be led in the style of a Youthscape Essentials course, where you can learn more about being trauma aware and consider the implications this has on youth ministry. We’ll also spend some time looking at practical ways to create safe spaces for young people and reflect on God’s promises and our own feelings within this space. Join us for this 90 minute event, and leave with a clearer sense of what it is to be trauma aware in youth ministry.
