YS LutonSeveral organisations across Luton have partnered together, with Youthscape, to form a response group as a central place for children, young people and families to get in touch and access town-wide support.
The Luton Youth and Families COVID-19 Response group is growing rapidly, with over 20 local organisations and charities now involved. We have set up an independent website www.weareluton.org where you will be able to find the referral form and information about the organisations involved. We are aware this is a significantly challenging time for many children, young people and families, as the impact of COVID-19 will cause financial, emotional and social strain on many in our community.
We know that your schools are working hard to ensure there will be on going support available over the coming months. Voluntary services across Luton also remain wholeheartedly committed to providing care and support for those who need it, particularly during this time. As many of our organisations develop their own response strategies and initiatives, we have partnered together to form ‘Luton Youth and Families COVID-19 Response Group’ – now We are Luton – as a central place for children, young people and families to get in touch and access this town wide support.
